PURPOSE:To enhance color forming characteristics and the storage stability of a background part by adding at least one kind of a specific salycilyic acid derivative or a metal salt thereof as an electron acceptive compd. reacting with a dye precursor at the time of heating to develop a color and also adding amorphous silica having specific oil absorption. CONSTITUTION:A salycilic derivative represented by general formula (wherein X1 and X2 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group or a halogen atom, R is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group) or a metal salt thereof is added as an electron acceptive compd. and amorphous silica or amorphous calcium silicate of which the oil absorption due to a JISK-5101 method is 100ml/100g or greater is also added. 100-500wt.% of a salicylic derivative or a metal salt thereof is added to amorphous silica or amorphous calcium silicate. By this constitution, color forming characteristics, storage stability and head matching properties are enhanced. |
