PURPOSE:To provide cellulosic fiber fabric with easy care properties and anti- staining properties by supplying cellulosic fiber fabric with a water-soluble sizing agent, drying and processing the fabric with formaldehyde in a vapor phase. CONSTITUTION:Fabric comprising natural fibers or regenerated fibers, having <=200g/m<2> weight is provided with CMC, HEC, PVA or an acrylic sizing agent such as polyacrylic amide or polyacrylic amide as a water-soluble sizing agent, dried for a short time and the water content of the fabric is uniformly controlled in a constant-temperature constant-humidity chamber. A formaldehyde gas is adsorbed on the fabric, which is heat-treated, processed with the formaldehyde gas in a vapor state in a state of the water-soluble sizing agent formed on the fiber surface to give objective cellulosic fiber fabric producing no fine wrinkles, provided with W & W properties (wash and wear properties) and excellent anti-staining properties. |
