INPUT PROTECTION CIRCUIT IN SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE

摘要

To reduce noise effect by electro-static discharge (ESD) among pins in a semiconductor device with multi power supplying pins, an input protection unit for the device with at least two power supplying pins including ESD protector per each pin is employed. This unit consists of pads for supplying the power to ESD protectors, pads for supplying the power to the circuit of the device, and metal lines which connect the pads for supplying the power to ESD protectors as shown in the figure.
