The solid aqueous mothproof coating material compsn. is produced by making an emulsion of an acrylic copolymer and a mothproof material of pyrethroid or organic phosphorus to be a vehicle, mixing a pigment contg. titanium oxide and an additive with the emulsion to make an aqueous mothproof coating material, adsorbing the mothproof material with a titanate cpd., and solidifying the coating material. The mothproof material is pref. d-trans allethrin, dimethrin, tetramethrin, permethrin, deltamethrin or alphamethrin as a pyrethroid cpd. The titanate cpd. is pref. tetraisopropyl titanate.
