<p>PURPOSE:To automatically read out the relative image data and display them overlaying on an on-line screen as a window when data are selected on the on-line screen. CONSTITUTION:When an operator designates a retrieving code for the data to be processed on an on-line screen, an on-line work program 13 starts a control file retrieving means 14. The means 14 uses the retrieving code as a key to retrieve a control file 12 for acquisition fo an image data number and starts an image data retrieving means 23. The means 23 uses the image data number as a key to retrieve a directory information file 22 for acquisition of a storing address and evolves the corresponding image data into an image memory 24 from an electronic filing device 4. An image data display control means 25 displays the image data in the memory 24 on the on-line screen overlayingly as a window.</p> |
