<p>PURPOSE:To provide a two-component developer capable of high quality image development and allowing production at a low price, the complete recovery of a toner residual on the surface of an image carrier, and the application of compact design to a whole device. CONSTITUTION:A carrier made of magnetic grains formed to have a non- spherical shape having a mean diameter between 5 and 100mum, or more preferably between 5 and 50mum, is mixed with a magnetic toner where contained magnetic powder has an unsteady form with the breadth of size distribution equal to or more than 1mum, and grains having a diameter equal to 2mum or less are present by 90% or more, while the magnetic toner being formed to have a mean diameter equal to or less than 10mum and a value of sigmas equal or or less than 50emu/g. Also, the magnetic toner is formed to have a coersive force iHc equal to or less than 50Oe.</p> |
