PURPOSE:To provide the power unit for pocket beeper so as to be continuously used without exchanging a dry cell. CONSTITUTION:This power unit is provided with a solar battery 10, storage battery 11 to be charged by the electromotive force of the solar battery 10, driving circuit 12d for driving the pocket beeper, voltage detection circuit 12a for outputting a voltage detect signal when the voltage of the solar battery 10 is detected, and microcomputer 12b for connecting the solar battery 10 and the driving circuit 12d when the voltage detecting signal is inputted or for connecting the storage battery 11 and the driving circuit 1 2d when that voltage detecting signal is not inputted yet. |
