PURPOSE:To provide a rotary head type high speed chip mounting equipment capable of mounting irregularly shaped parts, such as QFP and connectors, supplied in a tray. CONSTITUTION:The title chip type electronic part mounting equipment is of two-point suction head type, wherein there are two stations in each operating station in a rotary head: The first station 7 sucks chips supplied in the form of tape as conventional, and the second station 13 sucks QFP or the like supplied in a tray. A part supply stage 14 is formed beneath the second station 13, and parts are received from a tray 22 through an XY table 18. This makes it possible to supply parts not in the form of tape to the rotary head 1 as well, and thus extend the functions of the high speed chip mounting equipment. |
