PURPOSE:To provide the image forming device in which the copying mode or the facsimile mode is selected without provision of a special mode changeover switch selecting the copying mode or the facsimile mode. CONSTITUTION:The device is made up of a picture read section reading a picture of an original, an image forming section forming an image to a medium based on the picture information received by the picture read section, a facsimile equipment 95 outputting the picture information received by the picture read section to an external device through a telephone line, a ten-key section entering a numeral, and a control section 70 setting the image forming mode operating the image forming means when the numeral entered by the ten-key section is a numeral starting from other numerals than '0', setting the numeral as an image forming number, setting the transmission mode operating an output means when the numeral entered by the entry means is a numeral starting from '0' and setting a numeral to be entered as a telephone number specifying an external device. |
