Supple and disposable protective goggles

The goggles are made from a section of optically transparent supple film material, cut out in a shape which can be adapted to the face and has a recess (2) for the nose. The film section is made in one piece, with no folds in the portion which forms the front screen. On either side of the front screen there are sets of flaps with upper and lower wedges (7) between horizontal (4) and diagonal fold lines which intersect at common points (1). When the flaps are folded towards the rear they form protective screens at the sides of the goggles to which an elastic head band or side pieces can be attached. In addition, the film layer can be tinted to act as a sun screen and treated to give protection against ultraviolet rays or to be anti-static.
