PURPOSE:To provide a walking guide system optimum for the safety of a visually handicapped person's walking by notifying the person of a walking path or a dangerous walking position via the exchange of interrogation and answer signals between a marker buried in the ground and equipped with a resonance vibrator, and a transceiver carried by the person. CONSTITUTION:A transmission section 102 amplifies power for a high frequency signal and sends the signal to a transmission and receiving selector section 105. A selector control section 110 outputs an antenna selector signal according to a certain period, and the section 105 selectively connects an antenna 104 to the transmission section 102 and a receiving section 103. Also, the high frequency signal from the section 102 is transmitted from the antenna 104, whenever the antenna 104 is connected to the section 102 via the section 105. A marker 2 gives a resonance vibration, while an interrogation signal is being applied, and a resonance signal is transmitted from an antenna 202 due to an attenuating vibration during a residual vibration period. When a receiving level is equal to or above the preset value, a signal detecting section 106 outputs a detected signal. Furthermore, a display control section 108, upon receipt of the signal, generates an indication signal and sends the signal to a display section 109. |
