Multiple contact electrical connector

The electrical contact block includes an elongated conducting body (40) forming a connection block (49) with connections spaced along the length of the body. The surface of the contact block includes a series of regularly spaced holes. A cable (26) is attached to the block and passes through a hole (25) in one end. A component carrying cassette (3) of a similar length to the contact block may be fitted to the side of the block with connections (34) engaging the holes in the side of the block. Components (36) are attached to the terminal pins.
