The voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) includes a capacitance diode (CD1) connected to a low frequency modulation signal input (16). A second capacitance diode (CD2) is connected to a control voltage input (18). Capacitors (C4,C5) are connected respectively between the capacitance diodes and the connection point (12) of an oscillator circuit (10). The control voltage input is also connected to the first capacitor diode via an inductance (14). USE/ADVANTAGE - For portable communication equipment. Constant frequency cycle is generated over entire HF-bandwidth for constant LF-signal. Does not require channel dependent variation of LF-modulation signal. |
