PURPOSE:To obtain an amplitude limiting circuit having an amplitude limiting function for the input of an excess signal to a power amplifier and improved in its noise characteristic. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inputting a normal signal, route selection switches 6a, 6b select a transmission line 7 side and the amplitude limiting circuit conducts linear operation. At the time of inputting an excess signal, the switches 6a, 6b select an amplifier 2a side to saturate a succeeding amplifier 2b, and when the attenuation variable of a succeeding step attenuator 1b is set up, the amplitude limiting circuit conducts non-linear operation and limits an output level. |
