PURPOSE:To execute tone conversion of a display picture without interrupting work which is being executed, to facilitate a tone setting operation without making an error in tone setting and to shorten a time required for tone conversion by operating the tone setting of the display picture in a tone setting window. CONSTITUTION:At first, color required for change is selected by one of a whole color selecting button 13, a red selecting button 14, a green selecting button 15 or a blue selecting button 16 and display showing selected color is executed after the selection. Next, a mouse pointer 12 is shifted to the neighborhood of a place where a tone graph 11 is drawn and a mouse button is depressed so that the control point of curve change is generated. Then, shifting is executed with the mouse button depressed so that the control point is shifted, the tone graph is changed by following that and the tone graph is set by releasing the mouse button. Color map data is set in accordance with tone graph data obtained by the tone graph setting and the tone of the display picture is changed. |
