The stowage hook consists of a body (1), a locking lever (4) mounted to pivot on the body, tensile springs (6) which tend to pull the lever into its inactive position and a blocking lever (9) for maintaining the locking lever in its active position. The hook contains an assembly of levers (18-21) pivoting on the hook's body and made up of a first branch (18a) forming the hand grip and a second branch (18b) designed to bring and hold the locking lever in its active position. A release arm (21), to which can be fitted a cord, is able to allow to pivot the second arm in order to free the locking lever (4).
