The data detection level adjusting circuit enables disk drivers to adjust data detection level without changing hardware and prevents errors. The circuit comprises a level control part generating the PWM modulation signal with the duty ratio corresponding to the given level; a level detecting part outputting the DC voltage level detected by smoothing PWM modulation signal as the data detection level.
