<p>PURPOSE:To improve an information input pen and an information input device in operability and to enable them to adjust the line width of the input characters. CONSTITUTION:An information input pen is provided with an objective lens which condenses the light irradiated from a light source on the photodetecting part of an information input device. Then a lens shift means 51 shifts the objective lens toward its optical axis by a manual operation. The means 51 consists of a beam splitter 37 which transmits the light irradiated from the light source and also changes the optical path of the light reflected from the photodetecting part, a cylindrical lens 38 which changes the beam spot shape of the reflected light, an error signal generating part 50 which produces a focus error signal based on the change of the beam spot shape of the reflected light, a reference signal generating part 48 which produces a reference signal based on a manual operation, and a lens driving part 49 which shifts the objective lens toward its optical axis.</p> |
