PURPOSE:To provide a developing device for preventing the lowering of density at both end parts even in the case of miniaturizing the device. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 1-A is obliquely notched in positions corresponding to both ends of an elastic blade 1-B, and the elastic blade 1-B is bonded to the supporting member 1-A, then, a free length 1 from the elastic blade to the end part in the adhesion area can be made longer at the both end parts as compared with the length at the center part by 1. Thus, when the developer control member is made to abut on the developing sleeve, an abutting pressure by the blade itself at the both end parts is made lower than the pressure at the center part, then, the increased amount of the abutting pressure by a member for preventing the leakage of toner at the end part is absorbed and the abutting pressure by the blade 1-B in a longitudinal direction is made uniform, so that, the lowering of the density at the both end parts of an image in accordance with the toner leakage at the end part and the increase of printed sheets is prevented. |
