<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the scale of a circuit by preparing parts intersection data for respective picture patten parts, obtaining the cumulative value of a data amount, preparing picture data for recording for respective scanning lines and holding them in a storage means by a decided address. CONSTITUTION:A picture processing work station 100 performs the layout of respective picture parts or the like based on plural picture parts data transmitted from a read scanner 110 through a picture input I/F 107d. A picture fitting processor 200 prepares recording picture data for the respective picture pattern parts and for respective low resolution scanning lines by working picture pattern data by integrated picture intersection data, the parts intersection data and cumulative histogram data. In a picture data synthesis device 300, picture element signals for expressing the densities of respective versions are prepared by a micropixel unit based on the integrated picture intersection data and the picture data for recording supplied from the processor 200. Then, the recording of dots on a photosensitive film for plate making or the like by a recording scanner 500 is performed at a high speed in real time.</p> |
