PURPOSE: To protect a motor easily by providing a brush assembly in which a brush holder, a motor terminal and an element PTC having positive temperature characteristic form at least a part of a stack array, being held together by a resilient clamp means. CONSTITUTION: A motor terminal 37, a PTC 46 and a brush holder 38 are held together by means of a resilient spring clip 70 for forming at least a part of a stack array. The motor terminal 37 is passed through the terminal hole 55 of an end cap 33 and connected with the terminal of a motor. The spring clip 70 is made of a nonconductive material or it requires insulation for preventing short circuit of the PTC 46. According to the arrangement, the motor is protected easily. |
