In the manufacture of laminated products, particularly plywood, on a continuously operating production line, two laminµ are fed towards the joining position, one at least having been coated with adhesive, and at least one of the laminµ being bent so that the laminµ initially contact each other along their respective central portions, the laminµ thereafter being completely united. In the embodiment shown, Fig. 4, laminµ 11, 13 are guided between conveyer belts 82 and 83 and urged into a curved contour by a series of rollers 304, the lamina 13 being partially restrained from below by a guiding ramp 316. The lower lamina 11 which has been previously coated with an adhesive web 15 is forwarded by rollers 320 which have the conformation shown in Fig. 2. Complete contact between the two laminµ is achieved before the termination of conveyer belt 83. The rollors 304 are mounted in a frame 306 and are adjustable by means of pivotally mounted actuators 308 secured to frames pivoted at 309 to the frame of the conveyer 14. Adjustments may be made for different thick - nesses of laminµ by links 322 of adjustable length .Preferably the two laminµ are arranged so that the structural grain patterns are at substantially 90 degrees to each other.
