PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts arranged around an electrophotographic photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning blade 21 is supported by a cleaning device 10 so that the vicinity of its tip abuts on a photoreceptor drum 1, and formed of urethane whose resistance with the drum 1 is adjusted to be 10<6>-10<9>OMEGA. An electrifying voltage power source 22 impresses a DC voltage of + several kV or -several kV on the blade 21, or superposed voltage V obtained by superposing a DC voltage of + hundreds V or - hundreds V on an AC voltage of several kV so that a current value may be about hundreds muA on the blade 21. The blade 21 on which the electrifying voltage is impressed peels residual toner form the drum 1 and electrifies the drum 1 to set potential. |
