PURPOSE:To provide a variable two-way video information system rich in flexibility without depending on application by transmitting video information and control information related to the video information from a center equipment to a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:The start of request type video information service is reported from a terminal equipment 11 to a center equipment 12. This is performed by transmitting the instruction to a central control unit 11c from an input device 11e on the terminal by using a communication control equipment 11a. At the center equipment 12, a table is prepared for managing the terminal, the initial video information and the control information related to the video information are retrieved from a storage device 12d by a central control unit 12c simultaneously with the reception of the request signal through the communication control equipment 12a. Afterwards, the video information is outputted from a video modulator 12b, and the control information is outputted from the equipment 12a. Then, the terminal equipment 11 receives the video information and the control information, the video information is recorded and held in a frame memory 11d and the control information is recorded and held in the unit 11c. |
