<p>PURPOSE:To transmit a video signal to be outputted by digital from a camera with high picture quality by a transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Clock noise, etc., is eliminated from the signal from a CCD 1 in an S/H circuit 2, a digital conversion is performed for the signal in an A/D conversion part 3, a required signal processing is performed for the signal in a DSP circuit 4, the signal is outputted as a digital Y/C signal and the signal is written in Y/C signal memories 5 and 6. This signal is read by performing time base compression for the signal in a time base compression part 7, the time division multiplexing is performed for the Y/C signal, the signal is synthesized with a synchronizing signal in a synthesis part 9 and it is outputted. In a transmission destination, a synchronizing signal 11 is separated in a separation part 10 and the Y/C signal is recorded in a memory part 12. This Y/C signal is read by the prescribed time 14 by defining the synchronizing signal 11 as a reference in time base extension parts 13 and 14 and is outputted with the synchronizing signal from an output part 19. Or analog conversions are performed for the Y/C signals from the time base extension parts in D/A conversion parts 15 and 16 and the signal are inputted a required signal processor from the output part via LPF 17 and 18.</p> |
