The equipment includes a water fluid jet produced from a piston grip type nozzle. This includes a lance (2) with a handle (3) at one end, and a nozzle (5) at the other end. The end nozzle may include a number of ejection jets. A flexible hose (9) is connected to the pistol grip end of the lance. The device includes detectors sensing the angular position of the lance w.r.t. the horizontal. If the angle w.r.t. the horizontal exceeds a certain value, then the fluid pressure is cut off. Detection may be achieved by gravity operated switches, or by mercury tilt switches. |
