PURPOSE:To provide the receiver and transmitter for reducing power consumption at the time of waiting by dividing plural frequencies into those frequency groups and intermittently receiving, and receiving one of frequency groups each time. CONSTITUTION:A slave unit performs intermittent reception in a cycle T of 1.2sec. At such a time, the carrier frequency of 10 waves is divided into two groups of 5 waves and at two times of reception, all the carrier frequencies and scanned. In this case, when reception part start time t1 for one time of intermittent reception is set at 10msec, further, scan time per wave is set at 10msec and carrier frequency switching time for a reception part is set at 1msec, scan time t3 for five waves is turned to 55msec, namely, the operation time of the reception part for one time of intermittent reception becomes 65msec, and it can be reduced rather than operation time 120msec due to a conventional system for scanning all the ten waves. Thus, the power consumption of a battery at the time of waiting can be reduced in comparison with the conventional system. |
