Strippable Coating for Optical Fiber

摘要

Optical fibres are coated with a compsn. comprising (by wt.): (i) 50-80% oligomer; (ii) less than 50% diluent; and (iii) 5-35% additives including a stabiliser, adhesion promoter, photoinitiator and a non-crosslinked hydrocarbon. Also claimed are coated optical fibres, optical fibre ribbon and an array of longitudinally extending optical fibres.
