Construction of upper deck road with carriageway

The method is for construction of a road (2) with at least one carriageway (3,4), above a lower road (5) also with at least one carriageway (6,7). Lower and upper road extend mainly in the same direction. The lower road remains in use for traffic, during construction of the upper road. The construction works for the upper road are carried out, using a bridge or portal-like structure (1). This supports itself on and/or outside the lower road, and projects across it. The construction material, pref. concrete, pref. including side walls is poured into a shuttering. This is formed by two bridge-like units (8,9,14) of the structure.
