Thermoelectric component for infra red and visible radiation

The thermoelectric component has a hermetically sealed housing (1) forming a gas-filled sensor inner space. The housing has an opening (2) covered by an entry window (3) for the radiation. A radiation collector element (9) in the form of a mirror (or a mirror system) is arranged in the housing at a distance from the entry window and preferably aligned centrally to it. Alternatively the inner side of the walling of the housing forms a collector element. A radiation component (8) is arranged near to or immediately on the entry window. The active surface of the entry window is directed away from the collector element.
