OPTICAL DEFLECTING AND SCANNING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an optical deflecting and scanning device capable of preventing the temperature rise of a stator coil and preventing negative pressure in the vicinity of a bearing by the rotation of a rotary polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:This optical deflecting and scanning device is constituted of a means generating a light beam, a rotary polygon mirror reflecting and deflecting the light beam, and a motor rotating the rotary polygon mirror; and it is provided with a hole 19 communicating with the outdoor air on the outside of the housing 10 of the motor between the stator coil 18 for driving and rotating the motor and the bearing 11.
