The pump power and/or the windlass drive (14,14a) are/is influenced by control devices (2,2a). At least two cleaning vehicles (1,1a) with regard to their control equipments are so connected together that the control equipment of the one vehicle (1) acts as master control, whilst that of the other vehicle acts as slave control. The control devices correlate the windlass drives of the cleaning vehicles in the sense of a release and/or a drawback of equal hose lengths. On the individual windless drives the unwound or wound-up hose lengths are measured by length measurement devices 916,16a). At least one delivery parameter - pressure, throughput - of the high pressure pumps (8, 8a) for the cleaning fluid is measured and the measurement values are fed to the master control device (2).
