Path selection system for 3-stage coupling network

The path selection system uses a partial control (GP) for each peripheral coupling network stage (GS) and a central control (CP) for the coupling network central stage (SN). The coupling paths within the coupling network central stage for connecting at least part of the peripheral coupling network stages are quasi-statically held in readiness, for use by the required connections. Pref. individual quasi-statically held coupling paths are established by retaining a previously established connection.
