Disposable single use syringe

The disposable syringe for one-time use, in medical or veterinary practice, has a needle holder (3) as a moulded elastomeric unit. It has a cut-back recess (35) at the end side (34) towards the plunger (21) as a ratchet lock for a projection (25) in a mushroom shape at the plunger (21). The plunger has a nominal snapping point (26) at the plunger rod (22), formed by a notch (27) near the plunger (21).
