Controller for proportional valve

The controller consists of a state regulator (1) which produces a drive signal for an electromagnet in the proportional valve from an actual valve displacement signal and a desired signal, an electronic circuit representing a control path (2) and a state observation (monitor) circuit (3) which optimises the valve state parameter fed back to the state regulator. The input parameter of the state observation circuit is weighted and delayed by additional circuit elements (22,23,g1) so that inductive and magnetic distortions of the input parameter are compensated.
