Snowplough with leaf springs

Each blade strip section (5) is connected to one end of a leaf spring (17). The spring is fastened to the blade plate (4) in two bearing points (16), so as to be movable relative to it. It is pretensioned, and shows a tendency to press the blade strip section downwards. The section is fastened pivoted around a rolling surface on the lower end of the blade plate, and against the leaf spring pressure. Blade section and spring are connected via a bearing pin (18), which passes through the spring. The spring is located in a housing (12), formed by a U-shaped plate.
