The sieve assembly has holes of a defined size in a flexible endless belt (3) running around rollers. A sieve zone is formed by the belt upper section (7). Catcher and guide assemblies between the upper section and lower section (8) catch and redirect the sieved product (4) as it falls through the perforations A shaking or oscillating assembly (9) shakes and vibrates the sieve belt as it passes through the sieve zone. The shaking and oscillating assembly sets up motion in a number of rollers (12) over which the upper section of the sieve belt freely runs.
