A yarn guide for a centrifugal spinning pot for rayon spinning consists of a glass tube (4) with a conical end (3). A sleeve (6) is shrunk round the tube (4) and the conical end (3). Pref. the sleeve (6) is made from heat shrinkable material, esp. polyvinyl chloride, which is resistant to the chemicals used in viscose spinning, esp. sulphuric acid.
