Precision spatial point determination device for measuring machine

The device uses elongate reference elements extending along each of the machine axes, scanned by adjacent measuring sensors, for determining the path deviation resulting from the movement of each machine carriage along its respective guide. The corresponding measuring signals are fed to a processor, for calculation of position or path coordinates, or setting signals. The reference elements are supported so that they are free from external forces and are coupled together at coupling points, at which the measuring sensors, determining the relative movement are located.
