<p>A post stand (2) for a fence, preferably a catch fence (8) for catching flying objects, e.g. materials such as sheets of paper and plastics carried by the wind, in particular at rubbish tips or the like, comprising a stand having a post holder (4) with which a post (3) can be attached preferably in a vertical longitudinal middle plane (14) directed transversely of the fence direction, in positions of differing inclinations on the stand, the stand is of a frame construction of metal, which has in particular a framework (2a).
