The invention is related to a safety bag for safe keeping valuables which bag is provided with a zip-fastener or a similar fastening means, and has one or more compartments suitable for keeping valuables, and includes a strap portion for attaching to human body or includes a fastening loop. The safety bag in accordance with the invention has a construction wherein the bag is provided with a bearing strap (2) which is of adjustable length and attachable on the arm or leg, and the bag compartment (1) is made of waterproof material into which a fastening means (4) for fastening the bag compartment (1) is fitted in a way providing a watertight sealing, and the bag also includes an elastic border (3) alongside the perimeters of a front wall (9) and a rear wall (10) of the bag. According to another embodiment, the front wall (9) and the rear wall (10) and the side wall (12) of the bag compartment (1) of the safety bag are made of flexible plastic, the front wall (9) is provided with at least one opening (18), and the opening (18) is covered with a detachable or openable lid (13) in a watertight way, the edge (14) alongside the opening (18) includes a sealing flange (15a, 16b) formed on the side wall (12) and snappable due to form-fitting into a sealing flange (15b, 16a) of the edge of the lid (13).
