PURPOSE:To recognize the impedance of a circuit board including the parts packaged on the board by performing inter-pin measurement for testing lands, pattern discontinuity, etc., after designating pins to be brought into contact with two lands on the same pattern, and then, performing measurement between one pin and all other pins. CONSTITUTION:Pins P1-P6 to be brought into contact with lands of a circuit board which is already confirmed as an acceptable product are provided and measurement between one pin and all other pins is executed and measured data are stored. Regarding the low-impedance part of the circuit board 1, a measurement step between designated two pins is automatically prepared and the test is executed, with the test data being stored. When measurement is performed on a circuit board 1 to be tested by applying measurement data obtained from a circuit board which is already confirmed as an acceptable product after the acceptable-quality circuit board is measured in such a way, discontinued patterns and lands having inferior conductivity are first detected and the necessary items, such as impedance of the base plate, defectively packaged parts, etc., can be inspected thereafter. |
