A thermoplastic resin composition comprising, (A) 5-90 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin and (B) 95-10 parts by weight of a polyamide resin, and per 100 parts by weight of the sum of (A) and (B), (C) 0.01-30 parts by weight of a mutual compatibilizer, (D) 0.1-100 parts by weight of a plasticizer which gives elasticity to the polyamide and (E) 0-100 parts by weight of a rubber-like material.
