Methanol kann aus Dimethylcarbonat (DMC)/Methanol-Gemischen durch Absorption an Ionenaustauscherharzen weitgehend entfernt werden. Das angereicherte DMC wird als Filtrat gewonnen. Die Absorption wird bei -50°C bis +100°C und 0,1 - 10 bar vorgenommen.
