A dressing (decoration) for a wall, window or door comprises a curtain (10) woven at least in part with elastic fibres such as 5 to 15 per cent of fibres marketed under the brand name Lycra or Latex. Two opposite edges of the curtain (10) each pass in the form of a wide loop around two rods (20, 22) situated facing each other, and between which this curtain (10) is held in tension.
