The ester reaction tank is used in the esterification of a terephthalate and an ethylene glycol at 260≦̸C and 1 atmosphere, and the polymerization of then to produce a polyester. In the ester reaction tank, the inlet of the reactive monomers is set at the same position of the top blade of the agitated equipment, and the outlet of the reaction product is set at the top of the reactor when the softening point is high, and at the bottom of the reactor when the softening point is low.
