PURPOSE:To control the wasteful operation of an air-conditioner by informing a user of the cumulative operation time of the air-conditioner in every month. CONSTITUTION:An air-conditioner is provided with counters 31, 32, 33 for counting the operation time of the air-conditioner, setting means 35, 39, 43 adapted to preset the cumulative operation time of the air-conditioner and alarm means 37, 41, 45 for issuing alarms when the operation time counted by the counters 31, 32, 33 reaches the cumulative operation time preset by the setting means 35, 39, 43.
