<p>PURPOSE:To provide a mechanical grinding apparatus capable of easily obtaining fine ground maker with a particle size of several ten mum order, capable of enhancing the efficiency of power consumption and suitable for producing dry toner. CONSTITUTION:In a mechanical grinding apparatus equipped with the cylindrical rotor 22 supported on a rotary shaft 23 and having a large number of uneven parts parallel to a bus continuously formed thereto in the peripheral direction thereof and the cylindrical stator 26 provided so as to leave a fine gap outside the rotor 22 and having a large number of uneven parts 25 parallel to the bus continuously formed to the inner peripheral surface thereof in the peripheral direction thereof and having grinding chambers formed by fine gaps, a large number of uneven parts 1 in the direction crossing the bus of the outer peripheral surface at a right angle are continuously formed to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 22 in addition to the uneven parts 25. Since the vortex streams of matter to be ground are generated in horizontal and vertical directions, grinding function is enhanced.</p> |
