<p>PURPOSE:To provide a wheel for a wheel chair capable of safely ascending and descending the stairs. CONSTITUTION:Plural supporting rods 25 are radially projected from the outer periphery of a supporting plate 23 fixed to revolving shafts 21a, 21b of the wheel chair. The front ends of the respective supporting rods 25 are connected by respective connecting rods 27 pivotally supporting elastic treads 31 consisting of hard rubber materials. These tread bodies 31 consist of large columnar parts 33 of a large diameter and small columnar parts 35 of a small diameter projecting integrally therefrom and are formed to a projecting shape in a longitudinal section. These tread bodies are annularly arranged around the revolving shafts 21a, 21b. In addition, the tread bodies are so mounted at the wheel chair that the small columnar parts 35 of the tread bodies 31 in contact with a moving surface 37 project in a forward direction.</p> |
