<p>PURPOSE: To enable a flow control valve under high pressure by forming a plurality of recesses in a pair of seat carriers in which a flow control means is located, and by arranging a valve seat and a seal therein, and by forming a fluid passage which communicates one of the recesses with a valve chamber. CONSTITUTION: A flow control valve 12 is composed of a valve chamber 18 communicating between an upstream passage 19 and a downstream passage 20, a means 32 for controlling the flow rate of fluid flowing through both passages 19, 20, a means 42 for operating the flow control means 32 between open and close positions, and a means 10 for equalizing differential pressures in the chamber 18. In this arrangement, the flow control means 32 is located in the chamber 18 between a pair of seat carriers 48, 50 which are formed in their inward and axial surfaces with recessed 54, 58, respectively. Further, a valve seat 52 is located in the recess 54 while a seal 56 is located in the recess 58. Meanwhile, the pressure equalizing means 70 is formed therein with a fluid passage 72 which communicates the recess 58 with the valve chamber 18.</p> |
